The Bird and the Bee is an indie/Synthpop/alternative musical duo from Los Angeles, consisting of musicians Inara George ("the bird") and Greg Kurstin ("the bee"). The record features eight classic Hall & Oates covers along with the original song "Heard It on the Radio". Shirley Manson of alternative rock group Garbage performs backing vocals during the chorus of their cover of the 1981 Billboard Hot 100 #1 single "Maneater".Sweet album of very well done covers!
